The latest i can find mate.. Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo is confident striker Daniel Sturridge can make Team GB's Olympic squad despite being treated for viral meningitis. The former Manchester City youngster was taken ill over the weekend and remains in hospital. The 22-year-old was named in Stuart Pearce's Team GB Olympic squad on Monday, though his participation is now in serious doubt. Di Matteo revealed that the Chelsea medical team are constantly updating him with the striker's condition and he is optimistic he can recover in time to take part in London 2012. "Daniel [Sturridge] has viral meningitis. I spoke to him and he feels better now. Hopefully he gets well as soon as possible and can join the Olympic squad," said the Italian. "He felt unwell over the weekend and was taken to hospital afterwards. "It's a question now of monitoring his health. That's what most matters to everybody.
