    Remember him ? This is from last "January's Transfer" thread -

    Well he could be back in the frame AND as a swop with Bryan

    "On Prosport there is a striking rumor into the world. According to the English site is Fulham, the club's Dutch coach Martin Jol, open to a return of Ruiz to Enschede. On the other hand, Chadli and signings go to England

    Remarkably Prosport told Martin Jol has confirmed. In fact, he tells us that the deal is almost round. Also Bryan Ruiz would be open to a return to his former employer. The Costa Rican played an important role in the championship in 2010. The top scorer managed to score often defining moments or give a match which was decided. Just that one pass After the championship year opted for a move to the English Fulham, which to date has never been able to shine as he did in the red jersey of FC Twente. Whether this rumor is true, is not telling. It is striking that the English site tells us that Jol has confirmed this."

    Here's the youtube mix - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqIGwho-lqY - looks like he has more strength than Bryan.

    Bit concerned by the first 3 mins of the video (lost interest at that point) in that youtube mixes often make a player look much better than they really are. I presume it gets better but nothing at the start to suggest he would be an upgrade on Ruiz.

    Heard this is nonsense. Ruiz wants to stay at Fulham.

    Got more about him in this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RI-FpP-Or6s - looks like he's been linked to every club under the sun- I think he might have been really highly rated on Pro Evolution Soccer or Football Manager in the past- obviously not something to put too much faith in but here is his PES2013 stats;

    http://pesdb.net/pes2013/player.php?id=42552

    and FM2012 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=66355113

    On the basis of my limited and possibly misguided research I'd say not worth more than £4-5m now, potential to become a fairly decent player- not worth breaking the bank for but could be a useful addition if the price was right. I would want some money coming Fulham's way with him if Ruiz was to be swapped.
