Okay not a spectacular end to the transfer window for us but, we did most of our deals before August so not too concerned. Bendtner will do okay for us I hope and again hopefully give Gyan the kick up the jacksy he needs, going on past performances this season. Hearing about the Gyan transfer request reminded me of a similar thing last season with Bent again the club denied all knowledge of that so come January I'll be surprised if Gyan is still a Sunderland player. Let's hope Bruce uses Bendtner to his best and plays with 2 up top him and Gyan although if injured it could be him and Whickham. All in all sort of happy and Bruce still has till the end of September to show we have improved for me at least. Not talking 3 wins out of 3 here (although that would be nice) but at least 4 points from 3 games. Finally how can the barcodes source 2 decent LBs in the space of a fortnight yet we can't find 1 in 3 years? p.s. a big thanks to syd Mick and the rest of the lads for keeping the site running yesterday couldn't post much but managed to read most of what was going.
