Pantillimon Jones Brown Oshea PVA Catts/Bridcutt Johnson Seb Gomez Giaccherini Defoe Obviously depends on Cattermoles fitness. Think that team will keep the ball well and carve out plenty of chances. People will say Defoe is too lightweight to playup top on his own but I think his pace and movement would allow him to do it. Fletcher has had enough chances now and just hasnt done it and I would say the same for Whickham. We will need both before the end of the season so wouldnt discount them for good but we need to try something different. Burnleys defence would love us to lump balls up to a big target man as that is there bread and butter so we need to get in and around them with a bit of pace and movement. Giaccherini hasnt had a chance in the number 10 role this season and he could just bring that creative spark that we are crying out for. The full backs will have to create width as Johnson will cut in and Gomez is not a wide man but think Gomez links up well with PVA and would like to see us really going at Burnley. Ive no doubt this wont be the team and gus will continue the 3 5 2 experiment but if we are 0 0 after an hour I would like to see this or something similar given a go.

I have a feeling that Gus will surprise us and show his positive side, he has got to win the fans back for this one.
Well if we get a goal up early I could see us spanking them but if it goes on a long time, the fans will get on the players backs and we will shrink back into our defend the 18 yard box routine. The Burnley defence will not be able to cope with a front 4 of AJ, Giacc, Alvarez and Defoe. Get them the ball up the pitch and we will win the game.
