He added: "It's fair to say it was not aesthetically pleasing and it was certainly not a game for the football purists. "I don't think it was too bad entertainment-wise, given that it was an important game between two teams desperate for the win and we all had one eye on results elsewhere. "But had the head coach of Barcelona come along to watch, he would probably have left at half time.
