I know it's a pun... But yes it is my right toe... On my left foot. If I played football tonight I wouldn't be as good as Pogba.
Go to A&E, or send pics to @luvgonzo to examine, as I’m sure he’s been to A&E with something similar.
The ironic thing is you're right, Luv has had (a similar thing) happen. I had a freak gout attack 2 years ago that permanently damaged my toe joint and left me with permanent arthritis there. Pain is usually pretty mild but every once in a while it gets painful again... I can deal with it though... Anything but another gout attack... That completely changed my pain scale... Things I'd call a 9/10 before that are now a 2/10
I've got a permanently numb big toe, (just the outside off it). It was a mild case off frostbite.. Mind it doesn't hurt, so not really relevant.
I had a friend back in England with no feeling at all in his right hand. He fell when young and damaged the nerve in his hand. I occasionally fight with the buttons on my sleeve cuffs even with full feeling in my hands don't know how he manages.
When my youngest was about 6 we went camping and we were in a planned campsite at the beach this one time, not a wilderness site... So plenty of people around. So she got a splinter and we tried to remove it but being the drama queen she is was yelling and screaming "stop stop stop you're hurting me" she would continue screaming this even if we weren't touching her. We had more than. A few people come out their tents and stared at us as if we doing some sort of child abuse. The other two kids might have grumbled about it but our youngest always makes such a big deal about everything. Seriously, the way she was screaming and yelling sounded like child abuse. She's like that every time she gets a splinter but it's a little less embarrassing at home than in a crowded camp site.
