Right, I started writing this article on BBC 606 but didn't type fast enough to beat the 11pm rule so I will continue on here...

Evening Trees (And any others, yes Leeds fans I'm talking to you)

I would like to start this, my last ever article on here, by saying how proud I am to be a Red this evening. The way our boys went about unsettling Swansea in the second half was first class (I's beyond me why we couldn't do that from the off) I have thoroughly enjoyed the run up to/the two legs...Swans fans, pat your selves on the back 'cos you played a massive part in that. True Gents.

For all you WUMS talking about BD leaving I hope you caught his interview after the game, I was praying for who ever was conducting the interview to stop pressing for an answer on that matter as I couldn't bare the thought of him leaving and was so relieved to hear he has "already started preparing for next season" So you can all shut your mouths regarding that matter.

There is no doubt in my mind that Swansea were the better side over two legs...But over two halves tonight? I have to say that game, for me, epitomised the old addidge "game of two halves"
Our second half performance was outstanding and Earnie can stand and take a bow...Along with Majewski and Chambers who were both on top form tonight. Which brings me onto my next point...I know we've all talked about a lack of movement up front but Raddy highlighted that tonight with scary aplomb, the vision he showed and some of the passes he made tonight were top class again, but the amount of times those passes went skidding across the pitch with the intended recipient stood watching it go out of play was shocking...Our forwards NEED to start thinking more...Use your heads boys!

One small gripe and I really didn't want to have to do this 'cos I HATE "that guy" and I didn't want it to be me but some of the inconsistency shown by the officials tonight was laughable From a so called "Premiership referee" Two stone wall penalties waved away, not only that but the booking for Gunter was one of the worst decisions I have ever seen! Would he have brought Pratley down and taken one for the team if he wasn't already on a yellow?
It is beyond me why they automatically draft in "premier standard" officials for important championship games anyhow. Just as a game such as tonights was an advertisement for Championship football, so it should be for Championship officials. Championship referees know the players, they know the way the game is played in this division and if I was a Championship ref looked over in a game like this I would have serious complaints to make to the FA. Why shouldn't they be given their chance to shine in front of the Sky cameras just as much as the players are?
Any way, that's enough on that for the said reasons...Swansea still deserved to go to Wembley.

So for now Reds fans, roll on next season...Let's hope ND will stick his hands in his pockets for those "stellar signings" this summer and truely bolster this team once and for all for the all important storming season which this team has looked just short of capable of for a long time now. And for any Swans fans still here, you have shown your class since the final day of the league season and if I could shake all your hands personally I certainly would. Good luck in the final, not that I think you need it, and good luck in the premiership.

Good night 606, it's been emotional.

If BD gets his own way which I beleive he now will for transfers then we will win the league next season.

A really great game for the neutral and a fantatstic advert for the CCC. Pulsating and really does make you wonder why Forest saved it all for the second half, or even the final quarter. What could have been!? You must just hate the woodwork though!

Bluebird I have to say I still think Billy is the man to lead us back to the premiership, it may take a couple more attempts but confident we will get there in the end
