My work are having their own Fantasy Football league with the usual rules applying. Here's my team: Reina Sagna, Lescott, Clichy, Skrtel Wilshere, Giggs, Valencia Hernandez, Aguero, Suarez How do you fancy my chances? By the way points count from Premiership, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup and Carling Cup matches.
Skrtel wont play today and Wilshere is injured. Suarez is unlikely to play today, and Hernandez is out.
Why? I'm looking at the season as a whole rather than just in the short term and hopefully all those injured players should be back soon. I chose a back 4 that consisted of players from the top sides as they are likely to concede less, and I chose players from teams who are likely to go far in the various competitions this season. Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool are all likely to go far in the FA Cup and Carling Cup, with the 1st 3 sides likely to perform well in Europe too.
Just take advantage of the free transfers mate and change your team accordingly. Don't start with half a team, you'll end up in the relegation battle.
I believe it will pay off in the end. I may have to replace Skrtel though as there is no set date for his return, could be a long term problem. The one thing I forgot to check when choosing my team is injuries I think I have the strongest 11 of any of the sides in my Work League. Every other side has defenders from teams outside of the big boys, likely to concede more, and players who won't be featuring in Europe and who are unlikely to go far in the Cup Competitions. I'm confident!
You have a very strong team on paper. I just think injury problems will ruin your season. Best of luck and please keep everyone updated.
So do I mate. He is ready to play - it's just whether KK thinks he needs a break after the Copa America.
wilshere, valencia, hernandez and suarez will probably not play due to injury and copa america duty, change your players quickly berb
My work one. I can't make changes until the next transfer window, that's the rules. I'm counting on those players to get me enough points in the long term.
