Our next big sale? If he doesn't want to be here for next season and desires a move away, I hope we can get a decent amount for him. Surely he has proved himself in this league and IMO should be worth a minimum of 500k. Anything less and I think we should tell all to get lost. I personally think he is the one true creative player we have, and one hell of a winger. He will be critical to our promotion push next season so would be gutted if he were to leave us. However, if we get good money, we may be able to find some others who offer us the same thing. Should we offer him a large pay rise to try and entice him to stay? I think we should do all in our power to keep him here at least for another couple of seasons. He has one year left on his contract though, so perhaps we need to cash in on him? Thoughts in this?
well we know he wont be out of contract this summer so those that would be interested (and who wouldnt) they will have to pay up to make it worth our while in selling him. i hope he wants to stay though as we will need him next season. plus it all depends on mcghee. mcghee likes him but if his budget is not what he wants he may sell to get the squad we need. barnsley were reported to be interested in him and in jan offered a 6 figure sum. he may want championship football!
Six figure sum would most likely be 100,000 though which I must say I don't think it is enough. We always sell our players for too little IMO so hopefully we hold out for a bit more if we do sell him
If he's under contract we need to keep him for next year and build a side around his obvious talent. Perhaps we should extend his contract now so he is still ours at the end of next season and he cant walk away and mess about like Maynard
Id love to be able to keep him for a bit longer. He is exciting and I love watching him run at players. We haven't seen too much of that in the last 5 years or so.

Carayol looked different class last night. He put in the cross (I think!) for our goal, and had a wonderful chance of his own making in the second half. I was surprised when MM subbed him. He's that rare thing, a possible match winner; so if he goes we shouldn't let him go cheap. Do a Lines, give him a new contract with the understanding that we will talk to any Premier or Championship team which comes for him.

Seems as if no one needs to be very good for very long before we start talking about selling them. Muzzy's an exciting prospect, but I think we should hang on to him for a few seasons. A rough diamond that will shine, but isn't there yet.

mcghee will wanna keep him. but if a good price was offered and mcghee was allowed to reinvest that money then mcghee may want that. depends on his initial budget. i trust in mcghee whatever decision he makes as im sure with the list of players on his radar there will be a few carayols out there. remember he said when he joined us that for a whole year he been doing scouting work for himself ready for when he gets back into management. he has watched prem to non league games looking for different types of players for each position. he has also watched reserve and youth games as well. im sure during the summer when he starts to shape his team that we will see some quality coming through the door. mcghee may sell carayol and may find 3 or 4 other potential carayols out of that money! i trust in mcghee in whatever he does.
