I said on another thread we've drawn enough games at home now. Normally this game would be one where a draw isn't disastrous but after throwing points away against Derby, Donny and Brighton at home recently we really need to win this one.
i agree, thats why when we only drew against donny i disgareed when people said its only 1 game, not a big deal etc... drawing games like that puts big pressure on to win games like this, when normally youd think a draw wasnt too bad.
A win would be nice it's not quite 'must-win' just yet, that kind of mentality only puts pressure on players.
We aren't players, we are fans and knowing it's an important target might inspire the library to be what it ought to be.
I think we have to win on Tuesday and also next Saturday against Ipswich. If we do that then it doesn't put too much on the Cardiff game. We also have to win on Tuesday not for the sake of our league position, but to stop the TWS fans gloating and give them some back! I know a few Leeds fans, I could do without another 6 months of them having bragging rights.
We need to win, but it's not essential, if that makes any sense. TWS are one of the better teams in the league so a point wouldn't be disastrous though it doesn't help the fans when it looks like we are slipping away, it could be just a case of keeping calm right to the final day and sneaking in there under the radar.
I can see why people don't think it is a must win but we have dropped points at home against other sides, we can't keep dropping points at home, the problem is you haave to win your home games, and this includes TWS. However we shouldn't go there expecting to win, so surely we need to get behind the players and if where not winning after 60 mins don't start moaning at every missed passed.
