Man Utd Supporters Club (SCUM) have complained about the derby being switched to a Monday night as it inconveniences their fans who have to travel up from Southend, Canvey Island, Bournemouth and the like. They feel City have an unfair advantage as their fans only have to travel from Manchester and don't have to suffer train changes, station food and getting home in the wee hours before having to get to the Job Centre in time to collect their hard earned.
I live a couple of miles away from the arena of ****s*. Takes me 20 minutes to cross the road to get to the pub at scum kicking out time. The only reason they all drive past my house is that it's the shortest route to the M6 southbound. And yes, - they all drive like total cocks. * Don't make me write down the name of that **** hole - please.
Fair complaint, although I prefer big games under the floodlights on an evening after a full day's anticipation to a less passionate lunchtime kickoff. If you live further away, pffft. We all have to travel.
