Hi All, There are a lot of multi board threads going up at the moment, and they are descending into chaos and increasingly difficult to moderate. If you are going to post on more than one board can you please do the following: 1: Put Chelsea as the first team on the thread 2: Don't post it onto General Chat 2: Don't include any board that isn't a team, ie Premier league, Championship etc Cheers SW6 & Ginge
Is it not fans from other teams adding Chelsea to their posts? I post by selecting only Chelsea and nothing else, but I guess that doesn't stop anyone reading the Chelsea board and adding a comment. When I make a general football post, which I place on the premiership board (no teams selected at all), I think a few people who read those check your affiliation and respond in a partisan manner despite the care you might take to ensure the post is a footballing one and not a single team issue. This is nothing new. There were just as many thickos on the BBC 606 board who couldn't see past their own scarfs yet claim to be football fans.
In some cases it is, in which case we liaise with the other mods to sort it. If some one posts who is a Chelsea fan, they need to put Chelsea as the first team so that we can moderate it accordingly. The Prem league board is fine to a degree, but it is a ball ache when it is first in Multi Board threads.
Like PolarBear I only ever select one site, although it is 99% Chelsea! I have very rarely made a comment on other sites , and then only as a retort to other club visitors to the Chelsea board. On the original BBC 606, I frequently multi-posted, but only to share info or solicit views from the opposition!
I'm starting to be of the opinion that we should try to keep them to match threads. I think every one this past week has turned into a slagging match.
