The Boxer would be my choice as well but they made quite a few classic tunes . I am a rock is another cracker . Marathon man was a film Hoffman was excellent in.
Kramer versus Kramer was great. Two of my favourites. Dustin and Meryl. The wee boy stole the show though.
I'd agree ER - he was also very good in Tootise. A lot of people seem to forget that without that film they would never have made Mrs doubtfire which is, by common consensus, the greatest motion picture ever made.
For any young people who think that ER is listening to music on some sort of wireless hub or speaker, he's not. He's an auld **** who still refers to the radio as the wireless, much like the way your grandparents probably still do.
'For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her' makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! As does 'Bleecker Street'!!!! Marathon Man is my fave Dustin film!
Love the Simon & Garf LP Bookends which most of the Mrs Robinson sountrack songs are on. Haven't listened to it for years though.
