On the wireless at the moment. What a fantastic song and what a great film. Dustin is one of my favourite actors. His performance in "Midnight Cowboy" as Rizzo Razzo is one of the all time great performances.

Simon And Garfunkel are also one of my favourites. You won't get a finer song than "The Boxer" in my opinion. Was watching their performance at Central Park a couple of days ago. The amount of great songs they came up with was phenomenal.

    What's your favourite pop pickers??

I am just a poor boy,
    Though my story's seldom told,
    I have squandered my resistance
For a pocket full of mumbles, such are promises.
    All lies and jests,
Still a man hears what he wants to hear
    And disregards the rest.

This song could've been written about my life. If the lyrics, setting and general premise had been completely different.

Yup and so so sad in the end.

I won't spoil for anyone that hasn't seen it that Hoffman dies at the end on the bus.

...as they finally make their way to California which would have helped poor Ritzo's tuberculosis.

I'm man enough to admit I shed a tear at that bit every single time.

It's one of the most emotional scenes in a film EVER Gambol.

    Gets me everytime.

I love "america" by Simon and Garfunkel, that's my favourite.

As for Hoffman Movies, got to be "Little Big Man".

"The Only Little Boy In New York" is absolutely sublime.

In fact I would say Simon and Gargunkel are my favourite artists.

Never tire of hearing their music.

I'm actually quite an emotional guy, who having been brought up in the 70's, was always told to put a brave face on it and be strong and not show any weknesses. The main reason why so many guys suffer with mental health issues. It's not good for someone to bottle everything up, it just causes major issues later in life. There, that's my sensible thread today.
