we've all heard that United are set to make a whole host of signings in the summer so do you think they'll make the right ones and he'll take them back to the top next season? I've said several times during his time here that Moyes would be a great manager if it wasn't for the matches in between where his weaknesses are quite vivid, even for us, we rarely put together good runs when it mattered. But, what he did superbly was build a squad even if he did drop a few clangers like Bilyaletdinov. The likes of Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Lescott, Baines, Stones, Gibson, Arteta, Pienaar and Mirallas were all bought for modest fees amongst others I've missed. His big money buys were debatable. Fellaini took his time to get going but we made a profit, Bilyaletdinov couldn't settle into the team, Beattie was a flop for the most part and Yakubu faltered but I think that was down to his injury. Will Moyes be able to buy several £20m+ players to turn things around for United?
I don't see the Glazers forking out enough cash for the needed overhaul, they are gonna struggle for a while imo.
Moyes will use all the money just to replace half of the rats fleeing the ship: Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, van Persie, Giggs, Kagawa, Nani, Hernandez out with not much money in return for them. They will be hoping Spurs stop collapsing because Man Utd won't have a big enough squad to cope with Europa League football.
Not really fussed what he does. Fergies mess and moyes to sort.....must remind him of when walter left him a mess to sort.....but with no money.
