Kari Arnason has refused a new contract at Aberdeen,............... Aberdeen say that the offer was generous. So we couldn't afford him..........and we know his feeling on wages don't we.
I did like Arnie when he was here and he was a good player for us last season. I think we are covered ok in his area (DMC-MC) now anyway so I wouldn't try to offer him anything. Unless he has been offered a good deal elsewhere...
He would want as much cash as possible this time in his career.............he wouldn't come this way again........after the way he left.
For one awful moment I thought this thread was going to be about you leaving us Plym Arnie? It'd be worth going to HP just to see him!
Given the circumstances of his leaving here and the experience he has had with Plymouth it is so unlikely he would even answer the phone to us let alone come. He was like a few players we had. Did well "at times" but often was ordinary in my opinion.

Being a "lady" like wot Gat is as well, she is allowed to express sentiments openly. Me on the other hand have to maintain a stiff upper lip in such circumstances and cannot afford to show weakness of any kind. Of course I would shed a tear or two privately when alone plymborn. Honest. When anyone left in the services who was a particular friend one would queue up to shake his hand and get any gizzits that were going before anyone else got in there. If it was a Wren it was different. You queued up to make sure she wasn't pregnant and if she was it could not possibly be your's...........................(tin helmet fitted and flak awaited).
Talking about moving on.........Sutherland going back to Blackpool...........but Bignot staying until the end of season. I expected big things of Sutherland,but not to be.............It will make space to bring in a big strong striker.............wont it sensible............it's a shame that Chadwick is becoming our sick-note replacement for BWP, who has signed a new contract at Charlton..........what a steal he was..........must of scored something like 25 goals in the year he's been there.
