off to the mags by the looks of it signing a pre contract agreement in Jan as he is out of contract next summer another top signing for them BUT we should be making an effort to get him here, we are crying out for a player like him in the midfield
theres a few links on the thread I made on in over at our place so it's quite possible given the coverage it's received. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/176157-Cisse-garbage-Sissokho-in
He's better than Tiote in my opinion so if they get him & flog Tiote it's progress for them. Made no secret of my liking for the lad, but there are plenty others about.
He's gonna be free, so why not lol. If we have aspirations to play Europa/CL football then we need better squad depth. I don't like the idea that once Cabaye and Tiote get injured, Perch and Anita are our CM's... Not good enough. ------Cabaye--------- -Sissokho---Tiote-------
Sissokho is quality mate, really physical, and much better pointing forward than Cheik. I will be a little annoyed if you get him for nowt, as he's a player, or type of player, we are crying out for. I'm not naming any of my top tips on here again, as this will be 3 (Cabaye, Cisse now Sissokho...) that you ****ers have signed, I do wonder if Carr just reads my posts!
It's true mate, whereas our scouts seem to pick out, erm, nobody we don't already no about! I have an extensive list of holding midfielders with a bit extra I've been watching, mainly Ligue 1 & Eiridivisie, I will only name them in wingdings format....
Has it not occured to anyone that although we may like a player, the manager may not? He liked AJ and Fletcher and paid good money for them but isn't finished building HIS team yet (how could he be after less than 10 months in charge?) and in another 2 transfer windows we may see that team much better. We wanted Dempsey but he didn't want to come. We may have had interests in several others but didn't quite get the job done in the summer. Maybe he will do it this January, or if not then we go again in the summer of 2013. Either way, I am totally convinced we have the right man and stand fully behind MoN 100% without one single reservation. If we had £100m to spend then he could maybe do it in 1 transfer window but we don't so its a slow burner. Thats fine by me as I've waited nearly 40 years already and seen some 4th and 5th rate managers come and go. Martin O'Neill is first class and he gets more than 10 months to get it right imo.
That looks absolutely amazing. Not worried by people who say "oh if you sign him it means Tiote is off, because the same thing has been said for the last 2 years. In fact, the people who say it are the same people who say he is **** and we are deluded ot think he should be at a bigger team, figure that one out?
