Ever since he's joined Fulham ive been really impressed by him, he showed again how good he is by giving Song and Djourou a torrid time. And he works extremely hard in comparison to a certain Lazy Russian. So the question I ask is whether or not you would like to see him at Arsenal, Spurs are apparently linked to him and I think he would be great cover for Gervinho.
He's worth a lot more than £5m and has the potential to be a great signing under Wenger who would most likely get even more out of him, put it this way if we got Arshavin for over £10m then he would be worth a lot more. He's only 24 which means that he hasn’t reached his best yet and would also most likely be able to adapt to Arsenal's way of football.
When he first came to fulham i thought thatch would be one to look out for. He is part of this golden generation of belgian footballers along with hazard lukaku fellaini witsel mertens etc. He has great balance and is technically very gifted. He also has a very good physique as he is both strong and fast and the amount of times he seemed to effortlessly shrug off tackles was impressive. I have been impressed with him and also junior hoilett the blackburn winger who has proved to be very exciting this season. I honestly would buy both dembele and hoilett in january or the summer and get arshavin and rosicky out. Also it was good to see diary back and he seemed to give the team an extra dimension in the middle.
With blackburn's troubles, we could get Junior Hoilett pretty cheaply. I know they currently value him at 15 million, but that'll drop significantly. I mean, who wants to pay 15 million for a player who'll be plying his trade in the championship next season if he chooses to stay with Blackburn. Kean out.
The problem with Hoilett is he's rubbish when it comes to defensive duties and often does not track back like Arshavin, and that could be deadly especially given the fact that Santos is not always the best in terms of his positioning.
Yeh but he is a fantastic player and i think that it would be a mistake if we didn't bring him in. Wenger could also work with him and anyway gervinho isn't the best defensive player either but when your are a winger you are graded on your attacking abilities. If they can defend well then it is a bonus but for any winger the priority is going forward and arsenal are an attacking team so it seems like a no brainer to try and get hoilett and dembele in.
Leave it out, that's what he cost us! He's starting to be a little more consistant for us now, which is great obviously. He had most Fulham fans frustrated this season and much of last with that "dribbling into nowhere and giving the ball away" malarkey, but he is improving gradually. Hands off!
