    You couldn't be more wrong. Local Boston press have been all over it. They were disgusted by the Evra incident and Boston Sox supporters made it clear they should give up Liverpool. They didn't. Boston Red Sox haveing sold out over 700 games in a row haven't managed a sellout this season despite doing well. Oh yes,they know about it alright.

    Its a cynical business and buyers won't be hard to find. Anger management is all very well but we all know he it's only a matter of time before he screws up again. Henry must be considering every option.

    I think he'll be gone this summer. Liverpool have to say they want him to stay to keep the price up but Henry and Co really don't like the publicity they get over LFC.

    See they charged the little scum bag and want more than 3 games. About 12 would be right.

    Not much from our usual Scouser contributors on this. The silence is deafening.

  8. It's interesting and refreshing to hear that almost every Mouser has condemned Suarez, with many saying that enough is enough and that the club should get rid of him, regardless of his importance to their team. They fully recognise that the damage he is doing to 'Pool's reputation simply is not worth whatever it is he brings the the field of play.

    I remember when Defoe "nibbled" that West Ham player, all of us agreed he was a complete twat, but we accepted that it had been completely out of character for Defoe to react in that manner, and to be fair to him he hasn't courted any controversy since that incident. The difference with Suarez is that he joined 'Pool with the reputation for being a complete and utter twat, and his behaviour since then has done nothing other than to confirm the fact that this particular twat really cannot change his spots.

    In any other walk of life, idiots who act like Suarez get the sack, with no references, and with their reputations ruined they find it extremely difficult to regain employment at any level near that formerly enjoyed. The same rule ought to apply to footballers, but because clubs have £millions invested in them, the players get away with it.

    I hope 'Pool put the buck-toothed git on the transfer list, and let him go to the first club that offers a half-decent price, even if it means them making a loss on their investment. Better that than to continue the international humiliation of employing him, and ruining what little dignity the club still retains.

  9. Well said, HIAG - especially putting any comparison with the Defoe incident in context. <ok>

    However, checking some of the threads on their board, I am not sure that the reality of the situation has really sunk in yet as they are still deluding themselves that a 3 match ban would be appropriate......

    Years ago, my dog bit the postman. I got dragged into the magistrates court, given a control order, and warned that the dog would have to be put down if it did it again. Well Suarez has bitten people twice now, so the answer seems obvious!..:D

    Anyone see the pillock The BBC dug up on the news, saying that as there wasn't a bite mark on Ivanovich's arm that clearly means he made the whole thing up?

    A career as a prosecuting lawyer doesn't beckon...

    People who are deemed indispensable to their companies rarely get the sack, surely all the fat bankers & investment managers still in their jobs should tell you that

    Actually every poster I have seen has said 4-8 would be appropriate.

    It is going to be an interesting one for the FA

    Racism = 8 matches
    Biting = ?

    I think we would all agree which is worse

    When he bit the PSV player, the punishment was...
    Two game ban and a fine by Ajax
    Seven game ban by the Dutch FA

    At a guess, The FA will give him a 4-5 game ban and a fine, on top of the club fine he's already incurred.

    I dunno. Which is worse? Both are pretty bad.
    With the amount of damage done i'd say racism might be worse.
    A career ending tackle would typically get 3 games though, and i'd say that is worse than racism, so i'm not sure logic applies when the FA dish out punishment
