Just thought id pop in and say hi, try and catch up with some old "friends" from the original 606. Is that long haired binner still kicking about, ipswichtownlonderwhateverhisnameis.?? Anyhoo, how's life in the Championship, must be better without us banging goals in for fun against ya? Right, must go, going back to the Premier league pages...toodlepip. Ratty.
Good Day Ratty! I wondered the other day why you haven't been on here for ages. Maybe its because Crawley are doing so well and like all good rats you have decided to jump sinking ship and support another emerging force!
Valid point, well presented, but wrong. City are still my club and I go to home and away games when i can get hold of a ticket..as you can imagine, being in the top flight every games a sell out, then again, so were our Championship games...Anyhoo, yes, i go to Crawley games aswell , but man, what a difference in quality, makes you appreciative of championship/prem league..terrace is good fun though. Missed 606 too much so after my self imposed exile, thought id give this a look. How's you my good man??
Good to see you back mate! I'm realy well, just come back refreshed from a trip up to the mother county! Southwold is absolutely beautiful and after a few pints of Adnams the world seems a much better place! My youngest is now a season ticket holder at the Broadfield! I couldn't brainwash him enough.... I will look out for the Canary shirt in the County Mall
You've missed all the glory Mr Rat. I do admire you for coming out of the sewers at the moment that your club finds itself in utter disarray. Kudos.
Don't you worry about us poppet, we'll be just fine. We have you to keep us entertained going on your reply... Nice to see you've still got a sense of humour...
JWM, yep, you'll see me wearing it with pride... As for the Broadfield, I feel you should still support your local club, hence taking Crawley as my 2nd team...exciting times ahead for them...Has he managed to drag you along yet? But Norwich are and always will be my team. We shall have to meet up at a Crawley game for a beer.
As an East Anglian in exile I couldn't bring myself to support Crawley! My second team is Cambridge Utd followed by Bury Town The only time I've been to the Broadfield is when Ipswich came down for a friendly and when Cambridge came down for a league game. I remember only a few years ago refereeing a cup final down at the Broadfield!
Can we possibly come back from this? Morale will be at an all-time low at the club (even worse than when we were in League One for the first time in half a century and on the brink of administration back in 2009) and I'm even hearing that all 20 odd thousand season ticket holders are scrambling to get their money back! As is stands with the disarray, sorry utter disarray at the club, we can only hope that somebody like Roy Keane would consider giving us a go, as we are THAT desperate for any proven manager to get us out of the mess we find ourselves in!
