Morning Everyone, The FA's decision regarding the Bellusci v Jerome racism row has just been printed. The Breakfast debate has run with this story today. Feel free to join in the debate. http://www.not606.com/threads/the-breakfast-debate.292430/#post-7624467
Having been at the match, it was obvious that Jerome thought Bellusci had said something offensive because I've never seen Jerome flip like that. In fact, I can't recall any player ever flipping out like that at Carrow Road before. These things are incredibly hard to prove but it does seem as though the findings suggest it was misinterpretation on Jerome's part and we have to take their findings as correct because none of us were privy to the conversations at the time. Jerome is quite within his right to get upset if he thinks someone is racially abusing him and Bellusci is equally within his right to be upset if he thinks someone is wrongly accusing him. The inquiry has deemed he wasn't racially abused and that is where it should end. I really don't get this goading by Leeds fans who now want action against Jerome - in fact, I find it totally pathetic and a further, worrying glimpse into the mindset of some of these people who, for the record, are still the only fans to have come to Carrow Road this season and caused trouble of any kind. The case should now be closed and everyone move on.
Got a bit of a lynch mob mentality going on there Elland Can't believe some are taking it almost personally (even on behalf of the player). An accusation was made, it is not proven - move on, is name is cleared.
Just the sort of thing that the BBC love though. Racism and gay rights beats the hell out of actual live coverage!
