    Morning All,

Burnley are the visitors to Elland Road tomorrow afternoon, as Leeds look to bounce back from a disappointing last minute goal sending the Whites home with nothing!

Will McDermott keep the same team, or could we see starts for Brown, Diouf, Poleon or Green.

Will Peltier and Byram be fit to start, and if so, who would you drop?

Following Warnocks sending off, who would you put in his place? Would it be Drury or White?

The forwards are not scoring goals. Is it time to start with Poleon? Would it be fair to drop Hunt?

Clive Time is back !!!¬ I expect you to give him a warm welcome. Sheldon and 20/20, put those matches away! Seriously though, lets wait and see what happens there.

    Hunt has to be dropped

    I would go

    Kenny
    Peltier
    Wootton
    Pearce
White (Warnock you piece of ****)
    Byram
    Murphy
    Austin
    Tonge
    Rossco
    Varney

Following on yesterdays conversation about scoring and conceding, I agree with Whitejock, I think we should build from the back. Which is what McDermott is doing. We have two attacking full backs in Byram and Warnock, and an overall better defence than what we have seen since we left the Prem

Kissa, I didn't see the sending off, was it avoidable?

    Morning.

Tomorrow could see all our optimism evaporate if we have a poor result. I feel we are are playing much better than last year and hope that we don't end up forgetting that in our clamour for a higher league position.

I know you mods are easy going, you put up with me! But be careful that this place doesn't become clivetime.com

Busy week next week, trip to Newcastle on Wednesday and to see our saw amp dwelling friends on the Saturday the wallet is going to get some hammer.

    Morning Glory,

Duly noted. I think a good mod is like a good ref. They are doing a good job, when you don't realize they are there (in their capacity as mods) A lot of boards have a host of problems, multiple bannings and so on. I'd like to think that if and when problems arise, they are dealt with sufficiently.

Anyone can pm me with any problems they have (with not606). (or we could start up a new thread Dear Bucks....) <laugh>

Morning all. Fully recovered from a magnificent Roger Waters concert at Aviva wednesday night. Took my mind off sickening defeat at Reading. However, proves how thin the dividing line is in the Championship. Had we held on for another minute, we'd have heralded result as terrific and talk would have been of promotion. Agree though, the pressure is on to beat Burnley and probably more important, a proper home performance with chances created and a couple of goals. The home form this season is little improvement on last year to be honest so far.
As for Clive, I dont see the problem. Surely the same applies to him as with any other poster. It shouldnt require the mods. Anyone offended by whatever is posted here is not obliged to reply to it. Just ignore and move on to next topic.
Is the idea of a 606 golf outing gathering momentum?

Morning all. Easy start - Drury at LB. Two thoughts - change of formation? 3 up top (Ross, Poleon & Varney), 3 in midfield (Murphy Austin, Diouf), 4 at the back (depends on whether or not Byram is fit to start). No change formation - So diamond in midfield (Murphy on left, Austin at the base, Tonge or Green on the right, & Diouf at the head of the diamond. This would leave Ross and Varney up top. Thoughts?

Clivetime - I recall he is just a WUM. But maybe his ban will have made him think a bit more rather than just always wind people up.

My favourite formation is 5-3-2, with two wing backs. We have the facility to use that formation.

How would you set up 5 at the back? Who would play where? Interesting thought though.

Two wing backs, and three central defenders, albeit, one would be more of a holding midfielder, like a younger Michael Brown or Batty

Morning guys, and I don't want to be a doom and gloom merchant, as I'm still plenty optimistic about the season. However I have a nasty feeling about Burnley as they are playing well under Dyche and scoring and getting plenty of points. Is it a flash in the pan? are Burnley going to do what many other teams do early on and then slide backwards? I think Burnley may be this seasons one to watch.

Fair enough Elland. Warnock can't play. We'll assume Byram is fit. Who plays where?

Change of subject - Just watchng SSN. How can anyone take Rugby league seriously when you have to give the ball back every 6 tackles AND you can choose who you want to play in the semi final?

it was schoolboy stuff mate should have stood him up then the ref would have blown for full time, instead he slid in gave free kick which ref had to let be taken and they scored.

    Morning all <ok>

Lets give Clive a chance, he has asked for a clean slate so lets give him it. I'm aware of the baggage he brings but now he is out of the playground which is JA606 we may just find a more mature poster <ok>

Dont like the fact McDermott will be forced to tinker with the deffence. Warnocks forced his hand with that one, and with Pelts injured and Lees IMO not looking solid as a right back, plus Wootons addition we could see 3 out of 4 starters at the beginning of the season out.

    I'd go with

    Byram Wooton Pearce White

Lets just hope Byram is fit as I dont think McDermott being the long term thinker he appears to be will rush him back.

Half day for me today :) I'm stepping in to do a bit of Dj-ing later and need to get used to the mixer and things, havent been on the wheels of steel for years <yikes>

or you jump on floor n let all your mates jump on you and bum you.

Elland, Warnock isn't available, so which 5 play play across the back & which 3 then play in midfield?
