Ive been called worse things than Hemese. I just googled Leeds United chat and this came up. I used to enjoy 606 on the BBC site so was definitly interested in this one. RE Mackay- General view around my workplace is Hughton will shortly be gone from the Canaries and Mackay will go, he has history with the club.
Lets hope the Canaries lose their obsession with us, and don't go after McDermott. Are you on Twitter?
Can't imagine why Steve Keane isn't the favorite for the Cardiff job. After all, he's used to working with idiots with no football knowledge (not that it did him or them any good, right enough!).
Oh hai! Good to read everyone had a nice festive season so far. Just catching up on some not606 reading now I'm back from my North America travels and back at work. What's all this about investment? Is it still that consortium wanting to invest to help buy back Elland Road or is this newer happenings? Sadly didn't catch the game yesterday but I reckon the lack of subs was with the intent of giving players 90mins to prove themselves as being fully match fit and able to cut the mustard. Wouldn't be surprised to see a different fringe of players surround the core of the team against Forest and do the same. If we are getting some money to play with it'd only stand to reason McDermott would try and push to their limits those he needs to make his mind up on to see what they still can offer before he sets his sights on alternatives.

I got the feeling that Houghton is not long for the Norwich job and I think McKay would do brilliant at Carrow Road.
The whole consortium / takeover is Haigh and Co. The completion is due anytime now. There has been money earmarked for the January transfer window, with Max Gradel the biggest name to be linked (back) with us. What were you doing in North America?
Wouldn't be surprised if Colin actually puts his name forward for the Cardiff Job. In all seriousness though my money would be on Sven. Don't think Solskjaer is stupid enough to take the Cardiff Job, remember he did turn down Villa a couple of years ago. I think he's biding his time till the Scum Job comes available along with Steve Bruce and Roy Keane

Ta for the update, just reading up some more about it and happy days that it sounds like it might be happening in a few days once the football league give their approval. Feeling a little more confident that it will happen compared to takeover talk from our last owner. The YEP saying McDermott has given a list of 4 transfer targets. Intrigued to find out who they are (Gradel by the sounds perhaps being one). Guess one is bound to be a new striker with Blackstock away, maybe another attacking midfielder and another winger? We were over there for a holiday - a special family celebration, we got a great deal on a cruise but the downside to it was very limited internet access.
