But I think getting BMD when we did was the right call, rather than wait until the summer. Feel sorry for Gus. What exactly did he do wrong? Hopefully today's the day for incomers. Morning all I think we did the right thing getting McD in when we did, not sure we would have got relegated had Warnock stayed but we were certainly heading in that direction. One thing I am sure about is that he was in no way the man to take us forward. I'm hopeful of some news on the prospective signings today, but can't believe the news about Gus. How harsh is it to sack someone live on TV? No respect.
I know a lot of fans wanted gus as our manager, but I think he's shown his true colours after thinking (my opinion) that he had this devine right to get to the play off final and to win it. If he thinks he got a raw deal at brighton he would have got a hell of a shock at Leeds. I doubt he'd have lasted long and would have tried to manipulate a move out.
Afternoon all Gus did a stupid thing but the Brighton board should have told him in person and not through the media. I don't think Brighton will get top 6 next season. As for signings hopefully they'll come today but defo this week. Has anyone else heard the rumour about Forrester from Brentford coming to us?
One rumour I have heard is that Kenny might be on the way out! Has anybody else heard that? I would be delighted with that personally. I think now that Warnock has gone, we don't need someone like him at our club and can find better.
