Good Morning, Warnock has said he may have to re think his building plans after Brombys horrofic injury.... What was he going to do? Build a team around Bromby? 8 or 9 of Warnocks staff were out and about last weekend watching talent around the Country....(Most of them were found at Spearmint Rhino!!!) We have been without cross threads for over a month now. Has it effected your enjoyment of this board. Would you like to see them back??? Its 20 years since we won the league title, how long will we have to wait til we return to the glam and the glitter? Best Leeds United forward of all time, who and why?
morning...think warnock will now be upping his search for a keeper due to bromby's injury..in my time watching leeds utd my favourite forwards have been rodney wallace, lee chapman, tony yeboah and not forgetting mark viduka
Good shout with the forwards. Loved Chapman, he was amazing with his head, average with his feet though. He deserved a few more England caps, not just the one he got...
Morning Elland, Best forward has to be John Charles (never saw him tho) but my era Alan Clarke has to be up there, for entertainment Duncan McKenzie, full raw boned forward then Joe Jordan. Back in glitz and glammer....5 yrs....at least
Missed out on being first. Heyho. End of season this weekend. Will we go out with a bang or a whimper?
Morning guys Really feel for Bromby, he's been consistently injured ever since Warnock came in! Think he might be looking for another RB as extra cover (assuming he does sell Connolly) now. Best Leeds forward that I've seen, got to be Mark Viduka...that said, I haven't been around that long
Not sure who my favourite forward ever was, but Yeboah & that goal is a good starting point. Clarke/Jones weren't too bad. u no hoo from across the english channel was impressive. Lazy though he was at time, even Beckford is worth a mention at this point for the goal that took us out of the dreaded L1 & that goal on 3 January (cue the song)!!!
AGREE 10000% he ran that game and many more Morning all Had a soft spot for the flying deckchair myself. Always got the job done, fantastic poacher & great in the air. please log in to view this image
My era was Clarke/Jones,however in more recent times it`d have to be Chapman, ungainly but ****ing did the job
Morning Boggers, and Morning Farsley. Close one Boggers today......Farsley, bloody hope we did. Fingers crossed
I also heard a rumour from a very good source (bloke on twitter whos broke quite a few signings first) that if hudders dont go up we will be taking a very good player of them. Fingers crossed its Rhodes.
Doubt it'd be Rhodes, Bates would really have to pull his finger out for that one. Wouldn't it be good if Simon decided he was too loyal to Leeds and just decided to give away all their best players to us though
