Anyone catch the Ecuador v Peru game. Montero was in scintillating form, instrumental in getting La Tricolor back from a 2 goal deficit to earn a draw. His play for Ecuador's second goal, in particular was a joy to behold. Wonder if he'll still be with us next season, not sure if Guidolin is convinced by him. Hope he was watching last night's game though, because Jeff was definitely making a case to be given another chance.
talented player for sure but needs to be a little more consistent for us though....i like the guy very much...
I just like Montero, I get excited everytime he has the ball, doesn't always work for him but can live with that. On his day almost unplayable.
i think now that Monk and Curtis ( sorry Curt ) don' t call the shots and Guidolin gets a summer of training the players up , the best will be coming from Montero .
Another fantastic performance from Jeff in the Quarter-Final of the Copa America against USA, he was really on fire. Really very excited about him next season and hope he is with us! As for Klinsmann and USA, shameful and embarrasing would be two of the kinder words I could use to describe their behaviour in this game. Shoddy officiating didn't help but the americans should hang their heads in shame.Hope they get smashed in the semi-final.
I think he'll be with us next season, one season of indifference should not close the door on him..........
