There is a few players planning their next move in anticipating going down. Montero is just a loan but it is reported he is very keen to go and hope it will lead to a permanent.

 

Nothing against Montero , hoped we keep him frankly .
But he falls in the same catagory as Eder , Tabanou and Gomis for me .
If they aren't playing whatsoever , wrongly or rightly, off the books on loan and on sale when they can be sold .
Wish Gomis had gone in the window , bad for basic moral kinda situation toward the team .....elephant on the bench ..

The Swans are adamant he isn't leaving. Quite right, because if he is allowed to leave then we fully deserve a spot in the Championship next season.

 

The concept that we might deserve a place in the Premier if we keep him ......even though we keep him on the bench kinda eludes me .
It's got to be clear by now that Montero is going to play a minimal role the rest of the way , if any role at all .

 

I've no idea whether this is true but why would an Ecuador international who is clearly a Prem level player go down a division? Even Dyer didn't do that. Boro are vying for promotion but there's no guarantee, it's all very tight. Seems like a very strange move if it happens. I'm sceptical.

Thing is it matters little what we think whitey , since Curtis took over and handed over to Guido , Montero stated one game and was cruelly taken out before the 2nd half even started .....it's all a bit puzzling to me but the fact remains he's another paid , unused player that we can't afford to do anymore .

 

I don't think anyone knows what's happened with Montero. A player who was on fire at the start of the season has fizzled out, but he's not alone in that.

 

I'd like to know why he can't get into the starting line up, or at the very least come on as sub. We should be starting with Barrow on one wing and interchanging Monty and Routs on the other, depending on attacking or defensive approaches.
He'll be gone in the summer i think,

We bring in these young players and rarely play them. I remember Monterio playing his first game and he was awesome but when you start to think we have a little gem here he rarely gets a game, Same thing with Grimes...Again we play him and he looked better than gomis but instead of getting him use to playing in the premiership we stop playing him. Exactly the same with Donnelly who we never gave him enough playing time to get use to first team football. These young players must be pissed off through lack of progression towards regular first team football. We could have and should have given these talented young players more chance than we gave them...
