Think you were going to the extreme there Turkish. My opinion on hollowhead was as a manager and his statistical facts, not on what colour shirt he has and so on. We do agree on stability but what does one accept as stable? I in no way accept hovering near relegation as in any form stable. Saying that, I do agree he needs time, this is HIS team and it's a results based business regardless of how much somebody cares. That should also be said of the owners because if they care then they will base their decisions on results, league position, finance above how much the manager cares.
Brilliant stuff for 2018 Brilliant Reactions to results on here are king Slender margins and the knockers are on the case. This is a period we need to steady the ship as a club not grab a new name of a potential manager or a new player that will instantly deliver You earn the right to win this league imo You don’t buy it we tried that a bit and lost the club imo QPR is for very special people in life and so imo that involves some substance and above all values ... you grow that with people that care about the club
It’s should never be a results based business imo Never! That exactly what is wrong with football at the moment. Win or lose either one makes us happy or cross imo Again important thing for me is to get the club back on track and stay in the championship which I am confident we can do because this lot at the club is the new way and I believe the only way
I agree with the rest of your post apart from this. All sports known to man are results based, otherwise.... well, whats the point?
Well I guess it comes from that in sport there can only be winners and losers. We can’t all be winners but of course that’s the target at all times ... it’s how you take lost that is important so in our case calls for never ending change in our position seems complete nuts to me. Sport to me means doing you best in the allotted time but when that time is done being able to handle defeat Suddenly suggesting that we need Gary Monk has to be crazy
Don't see us going down but maybe even that wouldn't see Ollie get the chop. SLF is doing a decent job along with Hoos in making our club a more sustainable outfit, whether we go down or not sacking him would make no sense.
To be honest, it's not about a manager's stats before coming to QPR. Coming to QPR and getting that wild horse under control is something you can't see in the stats.
