Twitter is going off with talk that MON has offered his resignation, I've been over to the Mackem board and they've picked up on it too.

So, if it's accepted, who do you see replacing him? Hughes? RDM? Someone else?

Was always on the cards, offering his resignation before he got the bullet. Trying to save face.

Pards will be looking over his shoulder now.

What, you declined the chance to sell their players and get them relegated? Tch!

I think they're doing a pretty good job of that already, so left them alone to get on with it.

Cest was saying they could have 10/11 pts from their next 5... Optimistic as hell for me, but I still think they're too good to go down, but it's getting harder and harder to believe Sunderland and us aren't involved in a deathlock for who can be ****test each week!

No we're ****ter, no we are! <cracker>

Yep, and that there were 3 worse teams than us...

Suppose it could be argued that Sunderland have a number of players in decline/not producing on high wages as we did... We had Viduka, they have Saha, we had Owen, they have Wickham, we had Duff, they have Johnson, we had Alan Smith, they have Brown/O'Shea etc etc. Overall though, they seem a much tighter unit than we were, and I think they have more capability to keep their interest and focus up, to be honest. Undoubtedly they are light in a few places, and lacking anything above championship level in others (Gardner, Colback).
