I am delighted with the new gaffer and really hope that this acts as momentum for the squad to push on next season. Looking at the Norfolk Cafu's comments re: the team, I feel that the ethos is very much focused on what the players can do as a team. Holt has alienated himself a little with his recent behaviour but if the new gaffer can get him to buy into the team again rather than acting as a prima donna then I think we're in for a good shout at a similar finish, or better, than last season. If he goes, other magic will occur in the form of Vaughan banging in fifteen!
I like the way CH turned Birmingham around from a team that thought 0-0 was good into a team that realised you have to try to win every game. And if they hadn't had that stupid Euro campaign they may have done better. We can survive in the Prem with the attitude that Lambert instilled of trying to win every game and aiming for 38 wins but knowing that a third of that achievement wll guarantee safety. I think next season promises more of the same.
