Lads you seem to misunderstand the role of the mod, he is more of an administrator of your board, making sure it runs properly. He can not ban people (but he can ask Cyd to do that), he can edit all posts on the board but I have only ever done that when a post is really offensive, he can also act as a figurehead for your board. Mick (the owner) also posts on the moderator's board information he wants passed down to members so without a moderator you are missing out on this.
