I've moved some posts from the ASI fund thread to this we one, so that both discussions can be discussed fully without impinging on each other. There's another discussion between Happy and OLM on moderation on that thread, but it looked like it would mess up some of the ASI talk if I moved it.
I think the moderation of this board has gone from good to piss-poor. I think both OLM and Dutch need to rethink their approach. I also think that Dutch uses his ability to edit in a far more deceptive manner. There have been plenty of examples, some of which you 'liked' so you could feed the fires, so seeking support is really a tad funny and hypocritical.
Yet again, provide links. I am only responding to your posts, yet again. Look back (you only need to go back to your more recent, although there are plenty) if anyone needs to see who throws around childish abuse and bullshit.
How I see which posters? I seems to me that there are only two who I am in argument with; you and DMD. You have both made accusations, on a number of occasions, and I have asked you both to support them with quotes or links - I'm waiting.
Honestly I have no idea what you're burbling about. I liked his posts which responded to you in a manner I liked. I did not and would not like a post because it had been edited. If it was a quote of yours in a post of his that he's done a "corrected" I don't see why that's a problem. If he's directly edited a post of yours I have not seen it and that's what olm has been doing to my posts. So like I say, I've no idea why you think I'm being hypocritical or something. I agree with you in saying olm needs a long hard think but I am not aware at all of any abuses by Dutch.

You have moved posts from one thread to another and made no mention of it, moving the posts changes the conversation, that is editing. In the less recent past you took to changing the wording of posts, which readers, who often read only the most recent, took to be my words; that, also, is editing. Sometimes people emboldened the changes or write something like 'there, I've done it for you', but sometimes you didn't. You are also very selective about what and whose posts you move, leaving other that clearly flout your own rules of moderation; creating that appearance is also editing.
Bollocks. When I've moved posts, there's generally a message on the thread saying so. Go find a post where I've altered the wording. Your posts make little sense without any help from me. It'd be a start if you stuck to the point and the truth. You screw up thread after thread with your burbling.
It's not only me, others have had similar arguments with you. It was not that long ago that Carmine Galante (definitely ), Chazz (I believe) and others were caught up in an extremely bitter exchange with you. The truth is that the one common-denominator is you. It really is not worth trawling back for examples as we all saw them and, as you know, you made the original disappear, leaving only the edited version. 'Generally' is a cop-out, but it does indicate that are not consistent. You stay with your name calling, it's in character.
Somewhere in one of your posts, it's possible you have a valid point, but I think it's hidden amongst so much crap and hyperbole, it's easy to miss. People see your name, groan and skip to the next post. If you've nothing to say about the ASI issue, can you say your nothings on another thread rather than buggering up yet another. Ta.
I have referred to the subject on other posts, I shall respond to any comment on them. The ASI issue is a part of a bigger problem and cannot always be dealt with in isolation. I'll post as I believe is appropriate, as I cannot see it is subject to moderation, unless you believe you have the right to steer how conversations and points of view are formed.
This constant bickering and point scoring between a few on here is now getting boring.. Every thread is turned into personel bollocks. Give it a rest !!
As its a mod thread thought i'd say, it may be worthwhile having an election thread on Thursday morning and keep it open until say tea time Friday and then close it. Good idea?
Looks dog rough, like all it's sister new town pubs. But it does sometimes have some class soul tunes playing when I walk past in the day.
