Only just found out that Mittal had a box at Chelsea before becoming a passive investor in Rangers. His words 'I am passionate about my business, not football' I sincerely hope he retains his interest, but unless someone can prove to me that he is bankrolling the club, I don't believe it will make much difference beyond losing the friendly face of Amit - who has enough cash to buy the stake himself if he wants. Lets see, this rumor is certainly persistent.

I can't prove that his money is bankrolling the club, but I've always suspected as much. Can't see Fernandes having enough money to do it. I've always felt much more secure in the knowledge that his billions are there as a kind of security blanket.
I'd love to see the books, but doubt we will ever know how this actually works. Also we forget that Fernandes is the face of a 3 person Malaysian consortium, the other two have similar wealth to him, well over a billion all in. A fraction of Mittal's of course. I know my gut feel is counter intuitive, if he does go just hope I'm right!
Security Blanket Col for goodness sake roll the bloody dice once in a while. We can't just like people because they have money. QPR won't stop because of a rumour ... its being built to survive.. hwat with all these bad results and all now we have no money and what's more someone nicked my blanket.
