Unlike alan Hanson i won't predict a semi final line up coming form the one group.... but i will predict three things. 1. England to fail at the group stages 2. Spain to win it. 3. Germany to bottle it after playing the best football.
I will predict that I won't watch any of the ****, and will spend the summer pining for real football.
Any predictions for any games to be called off by refs due t racist abuse? Ukraine play France and England who have a number of black players, can see it being quite ugly out their. What happens if it does happen? Will the team whose fans give the abuse be defaulted with a 3-0 loss?
I think the racism issue will turn out fine. Ukraine will be heavily prepared. Any one who causes issue will be putting shame on their entire country. I predict: England do better than expected. Carroll and Welbeck have a good start, causing questions over whether Rooney is so needed after all. John Terry will be desperate to impress. Spain will flop (by there standards). We will see a surprise winner.
Really? I've never known the Germans to 'bottle it' at any tournament, after all they are known for their persistence and reliability! My prediction will be that England scrape for the group finishing second before being battered by Spain in the first knockout game. Germany and Holland (if possibly) to both make the final with France making at least the semi's
they bottled it at the world cup in 06 for sure. they are a bunch of arrogant ner do wells with stinking attitudes and weep over how they bottled the champions league... i fully expect them to be class up to the semis and then bottle the whole thing.
They finished third with a relatively unknown squad and unknown manager (in terms of management) having lost in the semi-final to the eventual winners. IMO, that is not bottling it
Carroll to take the competition by storm and be the top scoring/assisting striker up until England get knocked out in the semi-finals by Germany. Germany v Netherlands final. Netherlands win on penalties. Kuyt to score the winning penalty. Huntelaar to be the top scorer in the competition.
Agree with point 1 Point 2, got a feeling Spain may just miss out this time, think Villa will be a big loss I Fancy Germany to win it
