That was a **** game! Our defensive line looked terrible today. Mistakes all around. Adomah exposed and allowed runners into his area that cost us goals. Lack of invention across the park. Even when Millwall sat back we couldn’t find a way to goal. Very worrying MW needs to find a way out of this spiral or we will be giving up our play-off spot soon. Millwall were all over us and deserved their win tbf.
'As good as I've seen from Millwall' FT: Millwall 2-0 QPR please log in to view this image Sam Parkin Former Millwall forward on BBC Radio London "That's as good as I've seen Millwall in a long time in terms of putting two halves together in one performance. "The back three were commanding, wing-backs were a threat and involved in both goals. "It was a great attacking performance and not just reliant on Jed Wallace getting them out of the mire. "For QPR, it's a case of back to the drawing board now. Whatever they've tried in the past three matches, it just hasn't worked."
I didn't see him getting forward much let alone with the ball. 1st half and much of the 2nd we were playing mostly in our own half. Only towards the end did we get forward when Wall sat back brought on an extra CB, and countered.
I think we've been sussed out and a loss of form has left us looking pedestrian. Teams know how to nullify us and we don't seem to have an answer. Three games running we've never looked like scoring and this has been against bottom half opponents. The Hull match now really will be a pivotal game as we have blown much of our games in hand advantage. We seem to be doing the reverse of last season by f*cking up the 2nd half...
''And it's Queens Passive Rangers'' clap clap ... ''Queens Passive Rangers FC'' clap clap etc etc etc. What's going on? Why the negative football all of a sudden? We were only playing Peterborough, Middlesboro, Barnsley and Millwall. Has Warburton bottled it? No attempt to move the football forward into dangerous areas to create scoring chances. At one point in the game Dykes ran thirty yards into our own half to get on the ball only to pass back to Dickie. No goals v teams in the bottom half of the league. Sideways, backwards and sideways and backwards again. I think Warburton's body and mind has been possessed by Holloway, McLaren and Hasselbaink. Has anyone got any positives about these last four performances since we played Reading? Our wheels have come spectacularly flying off.
Warburton bingo ... We lacked physicality, we lacked fluidity, we didn't take care of the football, we lacked quality in the final third, we play Saturday we play Wednesday, we have to look after the squad, We lacked quality on the ball, We're human in any shape of form, We were loose, We didn't do enough today, No hunger or desire to win a game of football.
But the prick still picked the same midfield and Wallace who was desperately needing a rest. Then to compound it he didn't bring on the last 2 subs till the game was dead, moronic. Warburton reminds me if Rogers, teams start off playing lovely football , look world beaters, then a few shaky results and the wheels come off and he's found out for what he is. A bottler who's always come up short except at Celtic , where im sorry my cat could've guided them to success. Who here still thinks that our squad was strong enough in January and didn't need some attacking midfielders adding to it ? If Anyone here still believes that Johansen is a decent player them you need to see a physiatrist immediately, has been so so poor the last few months. I actually got up to 12 times tonight he gave the ball away unchallenged and stopped counting, pathetic. Amos was blinding against Reading and hasn't started since, why not ? And why keep starting Dykes when Austin loves playing against Millwall. I just don't think Warburton looks at certain things and is blinded by his devotion to certain players and tactics. This was the worst performance yet and we better buck up quick cos Hull just went to Sheffield and drew and under their new ownership have looked a different team in last 6 matches bar Fulham game but that's to be expected. Just don't see Warburton changing it and admitting he's getting it wrong, can only see more pain if he doesn't!
The one single phrase he hasn't said once since he's been manager is, I got it wrong today ! My selection was wrong, my subs were too late, my tactics were wrong and my starting 11 were wrong. Be nice to hear that just once !
We keep saying other teams are dropping points but we are dropping more ! It's still a point gained on us as was Broms last night. Blackburn a further point ahead. Forest got a last gasp point and Bournemouth a last gasp 3. Boro another 3. We took 0 from 6 against 2 poor teams, we can't expect everyone to keep dropping points while we get none. Hull will be seriously hard the way both sides are playing at present
Get our dip of form out the way now. That would be great...but to be honest. I have a terrible fear that it is not just a dip, but a decline. We have played very well for a year....but maybe the slop is now down ..not up
So Dickie now suspended, Wallace injured again and he says Johansen has been magnificent for us ! I despair
