According to David Craig on SSN David Miliband has been ringing round SAFC corporate sponsors telling them that PDC is neither a racist or fascist, whoops looks like the standard bearer for moral outrage has just pulled the rug!!!
I think he's regretting using PDC as a scapegoat due to the bad press it piled on the club. He's realised his stupid rash deacion has sparked a media frenzy that says **** you to six figure we were paying him and he's made himself look like an ungrateful arsehole. If he isn't thinking that than he should.
Cause if he don't di canio will tear him a new arse lol , if millipede lol is doing this I'm sure his reason are for himself and nothing to do with the club
I did read that also him leaving is something to do with an issue over tullow oil and because it was him that helped to set up the deal
Just read the article.. I've learned more about fascism since this comedy started then I ever thought possible, and after reading the article I actually have a higher opinion of PDC!! Racism or anti semitism isn't part of the fascist background.. fascism is not the same as being a nazi...its more communism with a nationalist bent than ultra right wing. Ok PDC gave a passionate salute that has different connotations in the UK than italy.. vive the difference. Interesting to read that dmillie may be backpedalling, won't change my opinion of him now.. a self serving publicity seeking money grabbing wimp.
If this is true then fair play to him imo. I don't get why all the hatred. At the end of the day, he has helped our club out. Yes he got paid good money for it, but that's the EPL for you, the money is stupid it's not his fault. If he's now realised that he's partly to blame (I personally think the media would have gone apeshit regardless of what he said, but he didn't help matters no doubt...), and is trying to backpedal then fair play to him. He's under no obligation to do so. At the end of the day he apparently had a big hand in the Invest in Africa deal, and was probably involved in other international relations bits and bobs as well. I think the backlash he's getting from SAFC fans a bit ott.... or am I missing something?
