New here so don't all shout at once... In my humble opinion, I think the problem of players signing is Millen, i don't think the players want to commit to someone like him, if we had someone like basset or warnock things probably would be different, I think decent players see BCFC as a team on the down rather than on the up and "Milly" is a bit toothless.... As for NM, I think we should cash in on him, he's stalled his contract (albeit waiting to see if theres prem interest), but that's not someone committed to the cause. Bring back Alan Dicks....
Disagree completely to be honest.. I rate every one of his signings highly with the exception of Woolford. Millen is just unfortunate to be lumbered with a sqaud of poor players that are on very high money. Basically I think any other manager would have the same problem, until players are shipped out there is no money for transfers. SL backed GJ and SC heavily and Millen is the fall guy that has to put up with the dross he's inherited from them. Realistically we could lose a fair few players and it would have no impact on our first team. Hopefully he'll have the guts to drop Elliot from the starting XI and play Cisse and Kilkenny together at the start of the season. Really think that would be a great midfield pairing at this level. On the Maynard subject i'm undecided, if Leicester offered £5-6m cash in a lump sum i'd bite their hands off and buy defenders. However if it's £3m with add ons then it's hardly worth it tbh.
