I thought he had a good game yesterday and got most of his decisions right. Would be interested in the thoughts of any of the jacks that were moaning about him before the game if they can tear themselves away from arguing with each other.
Thought he was outstanding, let the game flow and kept his cards in his pockets (mostly). How the hell some on the deluded board can moan about him beggars belief !!!!
its just a smokescreen to distract from a poor performance, everyone does it in football........ only difference here was they were moaning about it before the match, seems they saw this result coming beneath all that false confidence......
We got away with 3 minutes of added on time. The clock stopped on sky at 95.32. That included the sending off, and a time wasting in the corner areas. He did a god job but Shelvey should have got carded as well as Rangel for chopsing and Chico for rolling over 4 times when kicked by Whittingham.
Apart from the fact that he should have sent Routledge (I think?) off for a "studs up" over the top challenge on Whitts, I thought he had an excellent game and should be commended. Nin Opin - that was perfectly legitmate play down by the corner flag by Campbell and Kimbo, not classed as time wasting. Mind you, I did think he did blow up a bit prematurley with that Vorm sending off interruption to play. C'est la vie.
Why should he add on time for their player getting sent off? Time wasting in the corner is legitimate all the time the ball is in play.
Too be honest, other than the odd iffy decision including Jonjo, which he should have been carder for, I hardly noticed him in the game and that's a sign of a very good performance in my opinion
I thought he had a good game overall. Apart from not giving the penalty against Williams for the push on Cowie
