What does everyone think of MA's plan for the future of Newcastle I think its a good approach unlike the times when we used to buy oldish players and but buying and building for the future is the way forward.....
Well, i think Hughtons sacking was uncalled for, and saying it was to get a manager with more experience is bullshit, as Hughton had done so much for us in the space of a year. However, Pardew has done brilliantly, and he is in his ways, better than Hughton. Aslong as Ashley seems like he's trying to achieve stability, and he isn't just trying to cash in on the players, i'll be happy.
Pretty much this. His approach and methods may be all wrong, and his motivation for success may differ from ours, but either way, success on the pitch brings success in the accounts, so we can both be happy!
You're right about how we used to buy oldish players, it seemed to be our thing taking on players in the twilight years of their careers. Ian Rush, John Barnes, Stuart Pearce. Hopefully it's a thing of the past.
