    INJURED/DOUBTS
    *Wilshere
    *Rosicky
    *Diaby
    *Frimpong

    READY TO PLAY
    *Arteta
    *Ramsey ??
    *Song

Have my doubts over Ramsey'S quality but before we sign anyone or players return from injury these are probably the first choice 3

    YOUTH/GO ON LOAN
    *Aneke
    *Eisfeld

I really, really liked the look of Aneka and Eisfeld but if we bring in 2 new players there'll be no room for them so they'll go on loan

TO BE PLAYED IN OTHER POSITIONS
    *Coquelin

Coquelin is excellent but will probably be seen as the back up to Sagna at Right back

    NEW PLAYERS ?
    *Cazorla ??
    *Sahin ??

With the goal of having 2 quality players in each position but with the knowledge of injuries this is how I see us working

    ....................Arteta/Wilshere.......Song/Sahin..............

    .................................Cazorla/Ramsey..................

Diaby, Frimpong and Rosicky have had too many injury problem to count on them for this season (despite Wenger hailing Diaby as a "new" signing)
Frimpong has had 2 long injury lay offs so I think he'll go on loan when he comes back
Rosicky just signed a new deal but he can also fill in on the wings where needed...I doubt he'll get a huge amount of game time an knowing his record it'll take him a while to recover from his injury

It's going to be a packed midfield if we do get all those players and Wenger has limited spaces with the 25 man squad rule but I think he'll view Cazorla as a #10 for some games hence the need for less forwards in the squad...Giroud, Podolski and Chamakh (unfortunately)

That's what I will go with in those positions, so it's the same as yours. Frimpong when he is back from his injury needs another loan spell, I feel.

    Here's a couple...

    --------Sahin-------Song--------Wilshere--------
    --------------------Carzorla-----------------------
    ----------Giroud--------------Podolski------------

    -------------Song---------Wilshere----------------
    ---TheOX------------Sahin--------------Carzorla---
    ---------------------Podolski------------------------

The key is that we will have TOP quality options. We can select based on form rather than purely necessity.

We all know Diaby & Roiscky are injury prone and it may take some time for Wilshere to get back to his old self.

If we sign both Sahin and Carzorla I have no problem with letting RVP leave. The squad will be strong enough to challenge.

Imagine if we win something next season and RVP isn't there... he would be gutted. All this talk of signings is getting my hopes up.

Would swap Sahin and Wilshere if we'd play in a formation like this.

Wilshere started out as an attacking-minded player and would be more suitable for the role behind a striker than Nuri Sahin.
Sahin has always been a deep-lying playmaker who pulls the strings behind the forward going players with an eye for key passes (Like Xabi Alonso, Xavi or Arteta for us).

Xavi didn't look so great when he was pushed up to play off the front man for Spain at the Euros.

I'm quite intrigued to see how Sahin will do after a very unlucky and bad year at Madrid, will be difficult for him to take out Arteta.

Apart from if it wasn't for Ramsey, we would have lost that game to Korea 1-O. Wouldn't we ?

Wow, abuse from a midtable club. Getting jealous are you?

Nah, then South Korea would have brought someone on to nullify this other player.

Ramsey ruled the GB Midfield. Easily one of our best players. Bellamy, Giggs and Richards did a good job as over aged players and Ramsey was the other stand out player imo.

Anyone who slates Ramsey for his GB performances is showing a distinct lack of knowledge of how football works. He was the teams creativity.

He has had his problems over the last season but its just getting silly the abuse he gets. It's like Walcott, they are good players who have become scape goats.

You will be great on the ball whichever combination you field.

But Wenger still hasn't addressed how poor you are without it.

Perhaps the appointment of Steve Bould is a step in this direction?

I'm sure we could've found someone else in Britain that could score 1 out of 2 penalties. He had a good tournament though, much better than Cleverley, Rose and a number of others who are at big Premier League clubs.

An appreciated admission from a Spurs fan. I thought he was very good. He's still a bit raw but he displayed some fantastic ideas and vision too.

I thought Ramsey played well overall. His pens were utter w@nk, but his midfield play, and link up with Allen and Cleverly was pretty good to see, especially when compared to say Stevie G + Lampard for instance.

It is a shame we were never able to field Bale and Wilshire though. Would have really added something to the sub options.

The third one was good, though. Much more power.

I disagree. If the keeper went the right way he would have saved it. IMO that makes it a lucky pen rather then good (asuming he didn't do any clever tricks to send the keeper the wrong way).

If you look at the Korean pens, or those of Lamps or Gerrard (just to be fair((for the clubs)) they were well out of the keepers reach, even if they do go the right way

The third one was hit with plenty of power with more height, even if the keeper went the right way, for me it would have had a good chance to go in. Pity he failed to hit the second one with that same level of power. At the very least, all his pens were not 'utter ****' though.
