He will deffo consider playing 3 at the back again, as he did 2nd half against Soton!! Hallelujah!!! Best thing he has said all year, actually all season, good on ya!! It would definately work, far better than playing flat back 4 with Chambers as RB!!
It's good that he is willing to be tactically diverse and many have offered the opinion that 3-5-2 may suit our squad better. I also read that piece Spanish and he did add "if needs must then we can use that system" so don't be expecting it to be a regular thing. More likely it will be to close games out or to wrest control of the midfield back should we be getting overran. Still, a positive sign from Mick that he can and will do something different if necessary.
Yeah, think it would be used against someone like Bournemouth, where our midfield may take a bit of a battering!!
