Really? To those that were there, was Tabb different class or just average at best?
We got away with it last night but certainly not running away with the idea that we have turned the corner!!
Lets enjoy the win for the next few days and look forward to the meltdown ahead!!

    Hahahaha Spanish he's different class ;) !

I just like the fact we have a gafa who will praise and keep things internal. Love it Mick!

TWTD said Tabb was one of our best three last night.

    Skuse
    Sears
    Tabb

In that order for MOM last night. Mings had a better game also!

Good good re Tyrone - when he's good he is exceptional, when he's poor he's an absolute liability!

    Pleased for Skuse and Tabb.

Please play 4-3-3 from now on Mick!

We play much better and actually win games with this formation so stop fannying around and use the formation that best suits the players.

    Now there's good a chap! <ok>

He seems now hell bent on picking Parr - not that that's a bad thing either - but seems to like him midfield!

I wouldn't be surprised to see 4-4-2 first half and 4-3-3 again at Watford second.

Yeah I also think he'll start 4-4-2 and go 4-4-3 if he needs to. Not sure why we can't start with 4-4-3 as that seems to work much better. I don't think we should start too cautiously on Saturday, never seems to work.

From what I heard of last night Tabb and Skuse had a decent game. I think there's no point having a fixed opinion about either of these players being s***. If used correctly they obviously can do some damage. Particularly Skuse doesn't get the credit he deserves. Plays a very important role, and allows the likes of Mings, Parr, Bishop, Bru to go foward.

Do we have a big enough squad to play 4-4-3?......<laugh>.........

I think if the game was at home to anyone other than the top3 we might have gone 4-3-3 but we know Mick would take a point away so I think it could be safety first....

Do you not think Skuse plays an important role supporting our back 4?

Would we not concede a lot more if we just had attacking midfielders?

in response to Castro - he would do a great job protecting our defence if we had an attack minded midfield. As it is he is a very defensively minded midfielder in a rather unattacking midfield. To be fair he had a decent 2nd half but his normal crab like, tortoise paced first half and Rochina didn't seem to find he protected our midfield much when he wondered through on numerous occasions before fluffing his last pass.
In response to the original question - None of our team were a different class and none done anything special. Same old plodding style in the first half. I didn't think the change of formation was the key to our improvement but the fact we just injected a bit of pace into proceedings. We got the job done but no real reasons to believe it was anything other than a gritty win.

I will happily take a gritty win over a stylish defeat especially at this point in the season!

Off the ball he's very good but he could do so much more on it. He is honestly the most frustrating player I have seen at Town, honestly it's just the lack of drive, he's a defensive midfielder not a bloody sweeper what he plays like. I don't know why we don't play him as sweeper to be honest that's all he really does but it requires more to be a midfielder!!

Yes he does alot for the team off the ball but he could do so much more on it

Regardless of what he does for the team, I'm with Spanish and believe we would be doing better this season with at least one quality centre mid. Obviously we are where we are using the players we have but I can't help feeling it could be better if we had more goals from midfield to add to those contributed by Murphy and the defenders.

Oh ffs, Muck is really giving Tabb a good old bummin now (warky must be as jealous as feck) going on about how fabulous he is, i think MM has lost the plot, Tabb is average at best and would struggle to get in another championship side, grrrrr **** i hate dinosaur Muck!!
