Michael Owen is in the papers today saying he is confident of finding a new club by the end of the transfer window. My own view is to risky, he's been injured for huge parts of his career and hasn't played a significant role for several seasons. I would prefer Defoe or some hungry youngster though there is the risk that TP woudn't play him. Your views lads?
Not for me, too expensive and injury prone - he as also lost a yard. My main concern would be that TP woukdnt play him right - evidentwith Walters playing 90 mins week in week out - making him a bigger watse of money.
No thanks he's reported to want around 75K a week! He's no where near the player he was and would not play often enough. I hope this is a smokescreen as TP keeps smiling when Owen's name is mentioned in the media.
I hope so Potts, would love a quick goal poacher ( not owen) to come in, but i'm hoping TP clears some players out.
