Yes, and he's got Evandro, Stewart and Mazuch to factor in before long.

I'm not playing hard done by in the slightest, I'm acknowledging we have different points of view and trying to let the argument drop. I haven't switched at all, I think it's Dawson's responsibility to organise the defence as he's our Captain and most senior player, and he can't do that. You blame Slutsky, I don't. I then tried to drop that facet as we were clearly in disagreement and pointed out he's also made a number of individual errors which Chaz acknowledged but you still seemed to disagree with. So I decided to try and drop the whole discussion, which seemed to prompt unnecessary abuse and you attempting to prolong the discussion. I seem to be criticised on here for arguing non-stop, and now am being criticised for attempting to stop an argument. What can you do.

    sub (not used): Fez

    Result 1-1

    Post match interview:

That's quite some corruption of the facts.

Besides the other nonsense, a simple read back will show I have always thought Dawson had individual error - he has had for some time, but not a massive degree of error. Beyond that, it is amazing that you hold him responsible for the ineptness of the manager's selections and inabilites of teammates. Strange how that changed with a couple of substitutions.

If calling your view moronic is abuse, then aye, it is inevitable; it's what happens when you make a decent player a scapegoat for the mistakes of others and try and defend it with nonsense.

Surprised Dawson didn't lead the talk, or is that Slutsky's fault too?

Meyler has given himself the credit and you exclude anyone else on the back of that; does it not occur to you that there may have been other voices being heard?

He seemed to be saying he thought selections were wrong, as he thought he should have started; was that down to Dawson or Slutsky? Would Meylers strong words have worked without both substitutions?

Are you honestly interpreting my criticism of Dawson's inability to lead the team effectively on the pitch as suggesting that everything is Dawson's fault and thus absolving Slutsky of any blame? Maybe that's where wires are being crossed.

This was what I pulled you up on, there was none of the other nonsense in it, just this. It was poor criticism and lacked balance or reasoning. You've tried to defend it by being a victim.

Then what was the point of your comment : "Surprised Dawson didn't lead the talk, or is that Slutsky's fault too?" and posting the link in response to Fez's post ?

DM's body language is a bit worrying - doesn't look Leo in the eye.

I edited my initial post which drew that response because it wasn't worth it.

I like Meyler, and like many on here have in the past criticised his inclusion in the team on a number of occasions, and frankly it speaks about just how far we have(n't) come that there are few of us who wouldn't have him as first name on the team sheet at the moment. We are in trouble.
