Been on their board trying to wake them up and face the reality. There's a mackem who speaks Swahili, haven't seen his posts since their game with Norwich. In his last post I saw he seemed to have accepted their fate and said he could see them doing a Bradford at the very best.

Isn’t there anyone who feels just a tiny bit sorry for them?
I mean it must be awful to get relegated twice and have so little hope of a recovery anytime soon.
Nah, just kidding.......... couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch of inbreeds.

Yes I do, because of unpleasant recent memories, and because Sunderland are now too pathetic to even enjoy rubbing it in. It feels on the level of bullying a ******ed child or something. Not that it's not enjoyable to watch.

When we beat them 5-1 I actually felt a smidgen of sympathy for them, knowing that they'd been hammered by their fiercest rivals. But then they delighted in beating us 6 times on the trot and laughed when we got relegated again. And it hurt, of course it did. I don't have one ounce of sympathy for their plight now, good luck to them getting out of Division One, they will need it.

I don't know of any other club whose abilities and history were so at odds with their self-perception. At least Newcastle have challenged for the Premier League title and played Champions League and UEFA Cup football in the last 20 years, whereas Sunderland have never really done anything. Well, not since the Titanic sank.

    Nice one mate <applause>

I seem to remember a couple of seasons ago your board had a bit of hassle with the mackems, particularly after you beat them twice in the league and in the FA Cup. It was when Steve Bruce was your manager, it didn't go down well with the mackems :cheesy:

We're a small club, we have few fans and those we do have are easily pleased. We also have **** owners and a bleak future. Sunderland are a bigger club, but they're not a top club nor even a 'secondary' club such as Newcastle or Everton or Leeds or Villa. They're like the nutcase from school who thought he was the mutts' nuts because he could beat up the backgammon club for their dinner money, even though he got **** grades and had a small cock and abusive father. The joke is, and has always been, on them.

Of course, I play in midfield for them.

    You can call me Jack.
