    What's happening with him? Last I heard Lille had scuppered our offer and where set to sign him. Now his agent is hinting for a move to sunny ol' Newcastle! Can someone kindly clear things up for me because I've seriously lost track.

    Personally I wouldn't mind him here. For the right price! Anything about £7M is madness and we should look elsewhere, but I do believe he'd be a great addition to the team and can score some vital goals in the future.

    How things have changed eh? 3 seasons ago we where "the next Leeds" now we're fighting to sign the Ligue 1's former top goal scorer! Thank you Liverpool! And thank you Chris Hughton! :emoticon-0150-hands

    The last thing I've seen is that his agent was pretty much saying

    "WE WANT TO GO TO NEWCASTLE PLEASE SIGN HIM!"

    Well he didn't say that..but it was close! If it's under £7M I'd take him any more then on your bike mate!

    not sure if this has been updated but L'Equipe reported yesterday that NUFC went in with a &#8364;5.5 Million offer that PSG turned down flat, and that we're going back in with &#8364;7.5 Million but PSG want closer to &#8364;11 Million ..

    And whilst glancing through their website I also spotted that Valencia are trying to gazump my imaginary NUFC bid for Cesar Azpilicueta .. not happy about that ..

    Bloody disgrace that .. surely their squad is tied directly to the FM database so that when you dip in to transfer someone it actually happens .. typical Lyon to be honest, showing stereotypically French arrogance .. pff ..
