Message to visiting wums

A big part of life on a football forum is cross team banter but at times banter can become OTT wuming and that then spoils debate for many, many fans. When this happens members tend to do one of two things, log off and slowly the board dies then the forum or a slanging match starts that often decends to pure abuse.

I then get complaints and eventualy have to ban the offender from a particular board or in some cases the forum, neither is a course I want to take.

All can be avoided by posting and debating on your own teams board and making the occasional trip to other boards to debate and indulge in some gentle banter.

Even though lettuce just got banned for nothing? Made a valid article had one made against him with nothing but insulting remarks and foul language yet he got banned? How does that work out? Bozz is a complete n00b when it comes to moderation and i think you should get someone who isa little bit more neutral than him.

 

but thing is lettuce, now you are back under a new name you get to stay, unless you are bad boy. That would mean a further ban and IP address blocked.

 

He used to use Hillsborough and Heysel to score WUM points on 606, so he should just stay away from here.

"bit more neutral?" The point of having a moderator is that they are fans of their respective club boards. Lettuce had 5 articles, clogging up the board - and every single one of them an obvious and rather rubbish WUM attempt. His reputation also precedes him, he doesn't deserve a second chance on here.

 

Lettuce is a pain he adds nothing of value. When a poster like lettuce appears trying to wind everyone up because HE enjoys it, he should be banned. Like the cyprus says banter is fun when you add nothing of value it is just boring and will drive people away.

 

It's great that the mods have moved so quickly to stop the obvious torrent of idiot WUMS.

 

did i raaaul? i didnt at all try to score points i just looked at the situation from all angles you know a balanced argument is a full argument, i dont sweep things under the carpet and i believe you literally did try and score points less than 20 mins ago on your lettuce thread? did you or did you not? lettuce used no foul or derogatory language nor did he insult anyone, infact the only person doing that was you was it not?

At the end of the day if you as an individual do not like my moderation, post on another forum. A vast majority like me as a mod and majority rules, especially against Mancs on the Liverpool forum

BOZZ you had no justification to ban lettuce you did so out of nothing more than he made you look a fool on the real 606 last week that is all you have a personal grievance against him, your not fit to moderate, what was your reasoning for a full ban you didnt even give a reason, thats lame and almost feminie.

i said i may have crossed the line and apologied if i offended anyone but that was not my outset, to look at somethign from all angles yes you will annoy a few ppl but that was not the itention so for that yes i do apologise, for looking at something in a balancedc was no i do not apologise, its a tough hard world, you need to understand this. not all is rosey and how you percieve it to be, and if that offends you then i sinceiely apologise.
