This is worth seeing, over and over again :emoticon-0100-smile

Ian Porterfield scored the only goal of the game when Sunderland A.F.C. beat Leeds United 1-0 in the FA Cup Final at Wembley on 5th May, 1973.
Porterfield's strike was enough to secure a famous win against firm-favourites Leeds and secure Sunderland's second FA Cup success following victory in 1937.
It was the 92nd final - the 46th to be played at Wembley - and Bob Stokoe's Sunderland became the first Second Division side to win the cup since West Bromwich Albion in 1931.
The final - the only one in history to be played using an orange ball - went down as one of the biggest shocks in the competition's history as Sunderland took the cup back to Roker Park.
Porterfield will be forever remembered for his goal, but so too will Jimmy Montgomery after he made not one but two of the finest saves ever to keep out Leeds' Trevor Cherry and Peter Lorimer.
Sunderland A.F.C. beat Notts County, Reading, Manchester City - all after replays - Luton Town and Arsenal on their way to the final.

What a day. What a match. What an experience. Afterwards I said “ because I’ve had that , it won’t matter so much if I never see them win the cup again “. Oh well ,

I also love watching the city Luton and arsenal games - they’re sometimes forgotten but again amazing days.

When Richie Pitt kicked Alan Clarke up a height in the first ten seconds I just knew it was going to be our day, and for once the lads didn't disappoint.
    brilliant memories.

As was I. Went down overnight on the bus having baled out early from a hospital party. Cleaning up I knocked one of the lens out of my glasses. Found an optician that opened at 9am. Poor fellow looked woried sick coming up to his shop with about 15 Sunderland fans waiting at his door. Fixed my glasses at no charge so managed to see the game clearly.
