    If he don't want to come then we are better off without him. Time to look elsewhere . It was getting very tedious anyway.

    It was obvious that we went cold on him and we not prepared to pay the extra money for him.

    After that the fee made him out to be a marquee signing cos i've no idea..... who really watched the guy....

    BUT I just hope we switch to alderwierld and eriksen for <20mil and show some sense.

    Now that would be interesting..but can't see it happening.
    A week ago all the reports were saying we had all but signed HR so it could still just be paper talk or shaktars way of getting us to get a wiggle on and sort it out. But then again who says we were interested to begin with?

    What do you guys think of Suso stepping up to stake a claim to this CAM role? Do you think this season he can make it? Personally, I think the boy has class but is still too raw. Must be something else though, couldn't get a game towards end of season: attitude/ fitness/ not good enough?

    I'm not sure he will make it to the first team regularly at all.

    He has good skill and technique but looks quite nervous to me and his movement isnt near where it needs to be. He also doesnt seem strong enough.

    I think Suso is one of the players that BR was talking about when he mention mental issues. Suso definitely has the ability but I'm not convinced he will make it into Liverpool's first team regularly.

    He was probably very good, The Ukrainian teams and players in there leagues are never to be underestimated these days with Shakhtar probably being a worthy Champions League side and all.

    But they were asking for around 25 Million for a player who is not (yet) a household name, in fact some of us (me included) we unaware of this player before this saga started.

    Bottom line is I would rather three Coutinhos (8.5m * 3) than one Mkhitaryan.
