"Steve Bruce said this morning that he is working every hour God sends to bring in a new frontman, but with only 33 year old Shola Ameobi linked, the City boss must be praying for a few more hours to be chucked his way.
    <party>
With the need for a new centre forward mounting, Bruce will be hoping the 6ft 3ins striker can live up to his nickname in a City shirt and praying that “Shola the Goal-a” can deliver for the Tigers."

How long before the Hull supporters start calling him The Mackem Slayer ........ despite it being a myth.
And what was all that about Defoe being 32 <doh>

Genuinely thought you were on the wind up Smug, and that the link would be to a joke page.

****ing hell, desperation in the extreme.

Great as the fee was for Long, they absolutely ****ed up there, Long is a bastard of a player. Absolute menace.

There's no need, they do it to themselves mate.
I don't think so tbh, there's the makings of a good team at Hull.

Your two big problems, imo, are that Bruce is flapping as he usual does and is playing weird tactics, people out of position etc.

Secondly, the first team is more than capable of staying up but the second string are poor.

Injuries can send a team down just as easily as anything else.

Oh yeah, and your home fixtures look shocking ....... worse than anyone else's.

    oh i know what's happening

we will be going down... aye, but it's sad for football, to be replaced by another south team

we are living the high life at the moment, but this season, is tragic.. but i want to stay in the premier league, everyone has heard of us

sunderland have no worry with relegation, its straight back up

but for us... i fear this is it.. it'll be a long goodbye to the top flight..

    only banter.. i'll miss it

Dunno mate, is anyone still paying him wages ....
.... I reckon Hull have sacked him off and, if he can't play for the rest of the season he'll be 18 fkn stone by next August.

I really hope you stay up, as long as its not at our expense. I have a soft spot for Hull City, but cant stand the whinging, cheating t**ts you have aquired from us in the recent past. The targeting of Catts was shocking behavior from ex team mates and former mentor.
